Farmer’s Market at Borgess to be held year-around

Beginning this March, the Farmer’s Market at Borgess Medical Center (BMC) will be held throughout the year, including the winter months.  Twenty vendors are currently signed-up to participate.

To promote good nutrition and health, the Farmer’s Markets at Borgess will sell a wide range of delicious and nutritious foods grown in Southwest Michigan for members of the public.

The Farmers Market will be held from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, every other Thursday, beginning March 10.  As the year progresses, to check on specific dates people may call (269) 226.5717. During good weather, the Farmer’s Market will be held in the BMC Courtyard, which is accessed through the Cafeteria; other times it will be in the Cafeteria itself.

Registered dietitians will often be on hand to provide nutritional counseling and healthy meal suggestions.  The third edition of the Borgess Light Hearted Living Cookbook will be on for sale for only $19.95.
