THE GILMORE COLLECTION CELEBRATES BEER WEEK Sous Chef Mick Rickerd hosts Winter Beer Brunch on Saturday, February 20 at The B.O.B.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI (February 10, 2016) – The Gilmore Collection joins ExperienceGR in celebrating Beer Week 2016 with Winter Beer Brunch. Taking place at The B.O.B. in downtown Grand Rapids on Saturday, February 20 from 12-4pm, this beer-themed brunch will feature a sampling of 43 Michigan beers from 11 breweries, limited bottle releases, specialty tappings, live music from Hanna Rose & The Gravestones, games and contests, and a chance to win four tickets to the sold-out Winter Beer Festival. The brunch—created by Executive Sous Chef Mick Rickerd—will be served at stations throughout The B.O.B. “I’m really excited about this menu,” said Chef Rickerd. “It gives me the chance to elevate standard brunch dishes with an infusion of everyone’s favorite Michigan beers. Trust me, you’re not going to want to miss this!” The menu features:

Station 1 “Beir de Garde” brioche French toast with lemon-butter drizzle and warm Michigan-hopped maple syrup; Spanish egg pave; IPA-poached potatoes with crispy pancetta, scallions, and Founder’s BLiS Hot Sauce; and bacon and sweet corn grits

Station 2 Delski’s breakfast sausage and cherrywood-smoked bacon gravy with buttermilk biscuits; Sriracha-buttermilk fried chicken legs and spent grain waffles with malted spiced wort syrup; and dijon greens and roasted breakfast potatoes

Station 3 Smoked brisket and sweet potato hash with gruyere, hollandaise and wood roasted mushrooms; B.E.L.T. (bacon, egg, lettuce, and tomato) sliders with hopped aioli and caraway toast; and buffalo cauliflower with smoked bleu cheese and shaved celery

Station 4 Beignets with stout chocolate drizzle and cranberry orange bread with IPA glaze
